Dance Research

Assisted Skidmore Alumni, Jacque Forman, with investigating the effects of dance on attention and behavior in children ages 5–12 under the supervision of Professor Sarah DiPasquale. Responsibilities included collecting and analyzing data, gathering and synthesizing scholarly literature, and presenting research findings, contributing to a deeper understanding of dance as a tool for supporting children’s cognitive and behavioral development.

Dance Education

Participated 2 dance residencies through Skidmore College, collaborating to design and teach movement-based lessons for elementary aged students. Created and led classes integrating dance, writing, and visual art to support social-emotional learning, empathy, and emotional expression.

Current Work

Currently conducting an in-progress research project titled The Impact of Intergenerational Dance on Loneliness and Working Memory in Older Adults and College Students under the supervision of Professor Sarah DiPasquale. The study has completed data collection with analysis, write up, and presentation of results scheduled for Spring 2026.
